Lol, Johnny Majors just had a nice little rant about Dickey and Fulmer

On the Sports Animal. He was pissed that Lou Holtz got credited with victories when he took a leave of absence and that Fulmer got the victories when he had heart surgery

John Wilkerson went straight to commercial

I take it they didn't check Johnny's BAC before allowing him to talk?

At this point, the filter on Majors is pretty much nonexistent

If your brain was that pickled you wouldn't have a filter either.

He's definitely still pissed about Fulmer stabbing him in the back. The whole family is.

I don't know if he's as mad at Fulmer as he is at Dickey

I am not sure it's all stabbing in the back, he made his bed. A friend was KPD before joining the ATF and the KPD was pretty much Major's designated driver.

You might be right but that's not how the Majors family sees it. When all that went down, the whole family turned their back on Tennessee. Bobby's two youngest sons were fraternity brothers of mine at Georgia. His youngest being my little brother in the fraternity and still one of my best friends. Kind of sad that they grew up running through the T and now are big Georgia guys. Kind of cool for me getting to know his dad and his uncle Johnny through the years. There has been some wound healing the past couple years as Johnny finally has gone back to Knoxville for a few games.

That's not surprising. KPD would have a cop assigned to drive Peyton around when he went out.

Johnny has gone to more than a few games. He is in the facility and at practice all the time.

I'd love to hear what Johnny would have to say about Paul Hornung.

Was thinking the same thing. CJM is a pretty constant presence these days and has been for a while.

Sorry I don't follow every move of an old man. My point was that wounds have started to heal with the University but he still doesn't like Fulmer.

That sucks for Johnny but promoting Phil to head coach was absolutely the right move. Fulmer probably didn't handle everything the best way but imo there was no chance a divorce from Majors wasn't going to be messy
