Honestly if Boom doesn't work out, Roper should become HC.

If boom doesn't work we better just throw money at a big name.

It's more when than if, but yeah just find a big name coach and give him whatever amount he wants.

Are you the Gamecock version of Tillman?

He's not a Gamecock fan at all. Read through his post history, it's quite clear he's just a troll. Probably that 19812016 asshat.

yes please - as soon as Monday would be quite fine.
when's the last time (if ever with Roper) we've seen any of our WR in motion across the formation pre-snap on a pass play? DBs (even AM's shitty one's) have a huge advantage on our WR at the snap of the ball as none of them are ever running across a formation out of their stance/off-balance - and then having to cover. Ace Sanders, hell even talent of Mo Brown, killed DBs on plays they were in motion before the snap. Shi Smith would be damn near uncoverable from the same pre-snap movement if our numbskull OC would use it.
I counted 3 slant routes last night in my drunken stupor. two to Edwards in 1H and 1 to Shi in 3Q on the TD drive. Roper's pass (or RPOs if that's what he wants to call them) plays after that had zero slant routes included to give Bentley anything to unload the ball when TAM started busting through our OL at the snap of the ball.
we all recall Spurrier/GA/Jr killed Missouri on a simple middle screen to Mike Davis - repeatedly - a few years ago to punish MO for their constant rush/blitz to come back and win in OT. USC could have done the same thing to Chavis/TAM the entire 2H last night but Roper doesn't know how to do that. Roper has zero ability to identify nuances as a game unfolds and make simple adjustments to punish a defense for its tendencies/choices.
the 'run game' is a whole 'nother bag of shite.

I habe suspected the same, no one says old ballsack but taters.
And he hasn't popped up at all except for a loss to show his arse...
Currently he is in a timeout from our board.

Let's hope it's permanent.

I understand your line of thinking, but that's just not the way college football works now. Florida had to settle for Butterteeth, LSU coach O, Tenn hasn't found a real coach in forever, Texas got Herman but he wasn't a proven coach just the hot name of the moment, USC had to go with Helton, Georgia took Smart who had never been a coach. I mean who are the big name coaches? Outside of Urban, Saban, Harbaugh, and one or two others there really aren't big names. It really is to the point of taking a shot on an up and comer and hoping you hit the lottery at this point. I still think Muschamp can be the answer and he fits in well with our school, but either he has to find a new OC or Roper has to reinvent his philosophy immediately.
