What did Max Bullough do get get suspended?

I know this is SEC board but does anyone know what the hell Max Bulllogh did to get suspended? His grandad, dad, little brother and two uncles all played play for Sparty and he is two time team captain and all Big Ten third team all American and leader of the defense.
How many people would you have to kill to be a player like that get suspended before a BCS game in the SEC?

They talked about it on College Gameday this morning, but even those guys didn't know what happened (or at least they weren't saying).

I've seen references to illegal substances not named MJ or some kind of contact with an NFL agent, which would explain why Sparty so quickly distanced him from the rest of the team.

A Michigan State friend of mine heard he was caught using social media during a team dinner. Apparently that is disrespectful enough to earn this level of punishment.
