Will he?

a) run up score because it is UK
b) Mellow with age and pull 1st string after lead attained
C) Leave starters in because it's still close in the 4th. (CNB edit)

Which of the 3 happens this weekend?

We jump up quick and then let UK fight back to within winning distance.

Reference UCF, Vandy, and UNC games

Option a, if we can. I think if we get up big we'll try new defensive schemes with the younger guys to see what they can or can't do in games.

Added this to OP but curious why you think that? UK has not found a pulse on offense yet which tires out the defense they have.

It's an interesting question because of Shaw's injury. If we can jump up big (like we should against UK...) I'd really love to see Nosovich, Cooper and Williams get a shot to see what they can do. Some of the younger guys on defense as well (LBs especially).

But with the way we've closed out games this year he might just leave the starters in to see if they can step on anyone's throat...

If the game is like it was in 2011 then the starters will come out after the 3rd
