Hope he does well.
Likewise. RS was the ultimate selfless player for our Dawgs.

Samuel was another wayward dawg that never found his proper position (looking at you too brandon miller), which is a shame because he was a hell of a kid and a great athlete. He had his faults (mostly at RB), but was a great Dawg and I will always remember 3 things from RS that helped us:
1)09 Arkansas. We don't win that game without RS. Broke off a long TD run and ended up with like 120ish or so I think. That game was a Cox/Mallet showdown and that's what most people will remember (and rightfully so, it was entertaining as hell to watch as an impartial obvserver I'm sure) but we don't win without RS's running.
2)Going beastmode the last 10 minutes of the '11 UF game. We didn't necessarily win because of him, but he animorphed into some sort of hellbeast that last drive or 2, culminating with that last drive to seal it where he was just demolishing tacklers
3)Stopping the fake punt against Mizzou this year. We won by 20, but that game was CLOSE for about 3 quarters. Mizzou had momentum and was right there with us when they pulled that fake punt, and who knows that could've turned the tables and really put us in a bind. RS was the ONLY player on our team (that I remember) who stayed disciplined and played his responsibility, and even though their punter was running with about 3 blockers ahead of him, Samuel broke through and made the stop.

Saved us against the Gators in 2011. He will always be remembered for that!!

Hope he makes it. DGD for sure! Martrez Milner was another guy who played out of his natural spot.
