I am putting full faith in Dave Serrano. He has players to work with this year although they will be young:

2B Zac Luther, Senior
3B Will Maddox, Soph
SS Scott Price, Junior or Simcox, FR
1B Parker Wormsley, SO or Andrew Lee, FR or Christin Stewart FR
OF Vincent Jackson FR
OF Christin Stewart FR
OF Derek Lance FR
C Ethan Bennett, Junior or David Houser, FR
DH David Houser FR

Also has Vance Vizcaino, Jeff Moberg and Davis Aiken on bench that he could probably use.

Pitching will be an issue as there is nobody proven other than Zach Godley and Nick Williams.

Seriously though, Serrano has 3 top 100 kids committed in 2015 class already. All want to go to college.

One kid is a pitcher but not big $$ pro potential at this point. Another is a Halas kid from Chicago so I don't think he needs money. The other is the son of former MLB player Charlie Hayes.

Yeah, I still think they are a couple years away from really competing. But, they should be better this year. I think Serrano is the right guy to get UT baseball back to where they should be. I love baseball, wish more UT fans had interest in it.

It's not covered enough by the Knoxville media. Granted they have been bad but even in the CWS years, the attendance was bad. In the early to mid 90s Tennessee had what was considered big baseball crowds for that time. Delmonico's teams were so inconsistent that people never knew what year to show up and cheer for the team and then Raleigh just gutted the fan base. Serrano is the man though and will get it turned around.

Also got a comitt from Sophomore Will Neely from Knoxville Hardin Valley Academy. He is 5'10 and about 150 lbs. He has been clocked as high as 92.

Meh, if it doesn't move then it will get hammered. If he's a 92 LHP with a tailing fastball then we're cookin.

He is a sophomore that is 150 lbs throwing a 92 mph fastball that is pretty impressive.
