The last sequence of events told me all I need to know.

We were in the bonus for the last 10 minutes and only shot 2 FT (one of which was wiped out on a lane violation immediately after Alabama committed one).

When Harris (who is 85+% from the line) shoots FTs, DON'T frickING MOVE.

Also, you have 8.1 left and don't call a timeout to set up your final play? Are you fricking serious?

Pretty much this. That was a terrible use of clock and players. No one to blame but BK.

Who? "LittleAg06"? He's too chickenshit to show up. He'll wait until/unless we blow out Georgia/LSU/Mississippi State/Auburn/South Carolina (my god the SEC is bad in basketball) and puff his chest out. He has no problem going on the Kennedy apologist forum though (certain other site).

Waiting for the other apologist to show up too (Dr. RC), but all he can do is claim that "we're full of hate", blame the players (like Kennedy has done publicly), and go to the t-sip excuse of "we're too young and inexperienced, give a shitty coach more time".

I don't hate the man, but he's the basketball version of Mike Sherman. You can't deny it anymore.

Give me a suggestion on who you guys would like to see as the next head coach. I am interested to hear your ideas.

I don't think Kennedy gets the ax after 2 seasons. I do believe that Hyman will give him next year.

Glen Cyprien
Seth Greenberg (VTech's old coach)
Tad Boyle (Colorado)
Oliver Purnell (DePaul - Big East falling apart)
Tommy Amaker (Harvard, but has experience at Boston College)
Ben Jacobson (Northern Iowa)
Dana Altman (Oregon)
Jay Wright (Villanova - again, Big East falling apart)

Unfortunately, so do I...and the damage will be irreversible at that point.

I think Boyle was approached after Turgeon left and said no. Jacobson was a finalist. I don't think Altman can be pried away from the Nike money.

After that brief excitement over the possibility of Jeff Van Gundy, I was interested in Reggie Theus. He did do well at New Mexico State, before going back to the NBA.

I still think Kennedy gets year 3. Unless this team goes on a 15 game losing streak, then all bets are off.

I would almost go with Seth Greenberg. His teams ALWAYS played hard but he just didn't have the talent to get over the hump and always got screwed by the committee.

I'd take Bruce Pearl if he didn't have SIGNIFICANT baggage.

Remember who the AD was. There were a LOT of coaches that thought Bill Byrne was the arrogant POS that he is.

Isn't Boyle a Colorado native? I know he has them playing well, but is there a compelling reason for him to stick around there?

I don't think Boyle is the likely replacement. You asked for names.

Notice that I didn't give names of basketball powers that didn't have significant issues within their conference.

The reason Greenberg would jump out is because he knows what it's like to coach at a football-dominated school and have success.

Agree on Greenberg. Plus he is currently out of coaching. He did get screwed by the committee at VA Tech, but I recall he had some salty teams at Long Beach (I think).

Could you give us a link or quote what Kennedy said after the Alabama game? Is this a recurring pattern for Kennedy? Coaches throwing players under the bus after a game like this ought to be verboten.

This team is horrendous and watching Kennedy chilling on the bench is frustrating. Its so fricking ridiculous watching some of the stupid shite this team does. Dumb turnovers, no movement, lack of intensity.

I was a student from 07-11. Football sucked except for one year so I was very invested in basketball during that time frame. I was spoiled by winning and consistency from Turgeon teams. They never made it past the second round, but they always made the dance and were competitive.

This is not the Aggie baksetball that we are accustomed to since BCG got here.

I suffered through G. Rollie White Coliseum, Tony Bologna, and Melvin Watkins. It's easy for me to become apathetic. Heading that way fast.

During his press conference he said (paraphrasing) "we will only get better when we get better players".
