Oh no a guy who has been shattering SEC records, won two straight SEC East Titles, and was a tipped pass away from playing in the BCSCG is coming back

Who shattered records against piss arse teams?
Who had two of the easiest schedule in UGA history?
A tipped pass away? Goes to show hes to damn short, but, he still choked in every so called big game he played in and against weaker arse teams

You choose one wrong call by the head coach and proclaim Murray choked in the SECCG? Please list all the bad plays Murray made that confirm he "choked" against Bama.
The SC game was a total embarrassment on every player on the team, and the coaches, but you want to blame only Murray?
You seem to think the Florida game is a "big game," so please list all the "Murray choked" plays in that win.
The "Murray choked" mantra is getting old. Find a new routine or retire from the stage.

CONFIRMED: moron

Here are Murray's stats against the three best teams on the schedule this year:

10/6 South Carolina 11 of 31 109 yards 35.5% 0 TD 1 int
10/27 Florida 12 of 24 150 yards 50.0% 1 TD 3 int
12/1 Alabama 18 of 33 265 yards 54.5% 1 TD 1 int

And the Alabama int came at a time when it could've put the team up 14-7 to a wide open receiver. Blame the receiver on running a bad route all you want but the only person that could've caught that pass...caught it. I like Murray enough but I'm not going to call people morons when the stats show they're right. Against the three best teams Georgia played this year, Murray's looked very average. Or below.

For what? You called dude a moron for saying Murray blew up his stats on weak teams. I said he's kind of right. I didn't say a damn thing about Mason.

Called him a moron because he said he choked against Alabama when that's clearly not the case.

If he were good enough he would've played by now.

Kind of like if Murray was good enough he would've started instead of Cox? Or like if Knowshon was good enough his freshman year he wouldn't have redshirted? Okay I see what you mean.

I like Murray, I think he could actually do well in the NFL with the right system. His arm strength has improved a ton over the last three years and he's getting better at realizing his front five can't block six rushers. All I'm saying is people aren't really wrong when they say Murray doesn't play well in big games. His stats prove it. Mett and Manzeil wore Bama's secondary out this year so clearly it could've been done.

Go ahead though, stay the course. I'd hate for facts to get in the way of some good name calling.

Not even close to the same thing.

All I'm saying is anyone who thinks Mason is a better option or who want Murray to I are idiots.

I kind of agree. I think Murray is probably better but I think Mason fits the system very well. He's tall, he throws a really nice ball and he knows the playbook inside and out. I think he'll do just fine if he starts next year but I'd still want Murray under center. Or a couple yards behind it.

We've seen Mason play. He clearly is not close to Murray as far as talent is concerned

Maybe he wants to go for two wins against ranked teams before leaving.

USC game was not on Murray, the OLine was completely overmatched. Everyone who points out that Murray struggled against the three top ten teams with great defenses we played this year is right. He also played lights out against every other team and if he returns will shatter every significant passing record in UGA history. To wish the kid away is foolish. Mason way well be almost as good but then again he may suck. I'll take the known quantity with experience.

Just like Brady backing up Bledsoe. If that Brady guy had been good enough, he'd have been starting...

Murray's good, but does have some clear limitations. Maybe Mason's worth a look, maybe not. But it isn't overly good to have a bunch of guys with no experience as backups - somebody should get some playing time, just in case Murray gets hurt.

That's not the point man. mason has paid his dues. What do you think they told the guy to keep him from transferring last offseason

I don't know for a FACT that he'll be an upgrade, but I DO know where Murrays A game gets us. Ive seen his ceiling and so has everyone else

So why is an unknown quantity so terrible again? oh yeah. we have national title hopes again next year
