I'd like to see a bill introduced to outlaw Arkansas HS teams looking like Bama

The subtle influence is there when the HS uni's mimick Bama's. It's a detriment to recruiting for the in-state schools.

I'm going to write my Dad's rep and see if I can't get a bite.

My high schools uniforms mimicked Bama's whle I was there. They took the numbers off and put FHS on the helmet the year after I graduated but for years we had numbers on the helmet and dual stripes on the pants.

I also don't like El Dorado using Kstate's powercat. Greenwood with the Green Bay/UGA/Grambling G.

There are enough graphic designers that do logos cheap and getting decals made is extremely cheap. I don't know why any school continues to be lazy and violate trademarks.

Will be the only bill to pass unanimously. While we are at it, let's add a clause keeping any HS from looking like 2012 Arkansas jerseys too

I don't think Farmington did it expressly to resemble Bama. I could be wrong, you wore those red helmets I didn't. I'd just be surprised if the Hollands were cut like that.

The Bama look is what many, many, many, many teams that were short on cash and didn't have many options did. Single stripe, put the #'s on the helmets so the 'student-athletes' could tell em apart. Only #'s on the jersey.

Most colleges had that uni scheme at point.
