I hated the loss, but I was very proud of our fans after the game.

Glad to hear it!

I live in Texas these days.
Ran into a few aTm fans at Sunday brunch.
I was a recognizable fan as I wearing an Alabama polo.
They were gracious victors

If it's the same fight I saw, it was basically three drunk redneck fans who were all talk, and one guy who finally had enough and threw one of them to the ground and kept walking. Then they acted like they were holding each other back, all the while keeping their distance from him while continuing to jaw. It was quite comical.

I wouldn't doubt it. That thread was the only thing about that night that pissed me off. I can't stand people who go off on amateur football players for losing a game.

I don't get mad about losing a game unless the fate of the game is taken out of the hands of the teams, like a bad call by the officials. In other words, I find myself getting more upset over basketball games.
