You're not going to be popular with these comments but you are 100% correct. Not just for LSU but nation wide. Restaurants, shopping malls, doctors offices, airlines, etc all just trying to cover their butts from lawsuits that everyone KNOWS would happen if you didn't have precautions in place.

If this was truly an attempt to shield against legal liability, then the decision makers grossly misestimated the likelihood of being the target of a lawsuit. That’s the absolute best case scenario for your argument.
