re: The people who are knocking the Afghan military for its collapse are forgetting something

It's been reported by several vets who served there that the Afghan forces were often under / not paid, suffered repeated shortages of food & supplies, officers who were openly corrupt, etc.As a result, many of those in the army became disenchanted over time & came to only care about themselves & their families. It's not nearly as simple as calling them cowards.
