I said F'N TE becasue he plays at a position which has never been highlighted at our university. You say he is a generational talent based on what exactly? A recruiting ranking? Was Russell Shepard also a generational talent based on his high school rating?

You mean the same Russell Shepard that played under Les Miles? The coach that couldn’t get us quality QB play while having loads of WRs? The same coach that believed in running the ball 120% of the time? You put Russell Shepard in a spread offense like he ran in high school such as at Oregon or even Auburn during that time and he goes crazy. Come on. Even the past players were made that they couldn’t play in the offense of 2019 because it was so wide open. Arik gilbert is also the HIGHEST rated TE in 247 history. He’s 6’5-6’6 250 and ran what a 4.6-4.7 as a 18 year old. That’s the definition of generational TALENT

How many true freshmen have been day 1 starters at LSU? It’s not a very long list.

You can argue about whether he’s a “generational talent” but either way, he was the best TE on the roster week 1, as a true freshman, after a weird offseason.
