In honor of NCAA 14, what was you’re opinion of Denard Robinson when he played in college?

With the new cfb game being announced I thought about the last cover athlete, Denard Robinson. I vaguely remember him, but what I do remember is how I always held my breath whenever he took off running. I interested in what you, especially Michigan fans, remember thinking about him. Was he the best QB Michigan has had in the last 10 years?

I would have liked to see him play for RichRod for one more year. He was so grossly out of place in the offense Hoke tried to put him in that it amazes me they won 11 games in 2011.

Rich Rod era
He turned athletes into QB's that would make your life miserable defending the run out of that spread

Bad arm, exciting runner. A small ray of light during the Rich Rod/Hoke era. What's sad is he is probably about as good as anything Harbaugh has trotted out there.

Michigan found their best athlete on the team and made him QB, despite the fact that he wasn't accurate. He could run though and put up big rushing yards for a QB.

He was one of the most frustrating players to play against I've ever seen in college.

He pretty much single-handedly beat us in 2010 and 2011, and we were a good bit more talented up and down the roster both years, especially 2011.

Would’ve been a better QB if he tied his shoes.

We beat his arse in the 2011 Gator Bowl. Probably my first and last impression of him. Didn't he not tie his shoes when he played? I think I recall that being the case. I don't know why I remember that.

Incredible athlete that was never going to be a QB long term and would still be in the NFL if he learned another position earlier.

Can we talk about how NCAA 14 gets hyped only because it was the last one, and we all know that this was the GOAT

Only thing I remember about him is that he wore a stupid number for a QB

Great athlete. Was exciting in college, but wasn’t much of a QB. I remember him quite greatly because I’m a Jags fan, and he had a longer pro career than what I would’ve expected. Good dude. He’s actually getting into coaching now. He was the Offensive quality controls coach the Jacksonville Jaguars this past season. I hope the best for him.

If Stephon Diggs played QB he would be Denard Robinson.

He was the Juice Williams of Michigan.

Rod needed the Pat White of Michigan.

I believe Bama opened a season against UM and it was a bloodbath although there were a couple plays that were exciting from Robinson.
