Well the simple Dallis grass cure went no where. Some died, most is turning green again.

But as the lib's say "it started a conversation" which lead me to a site somewhat more legit than I. They say I am on the right tract to "Control" which is a best case. One more spraying of Weed B Gon with Crabgrass control after 30 days (19 now) and then again first week of April is an effective control. So I have hope.

Try this - Agorganics - worked as advertised on my basketgrass, would think it would do the same for Dallis grass (which is listed in affected weeds).

The important thing is you got your kids out of the yard.

The simplest and most effective method of completely removing all dallisgrass from your yard is a motivated 12 year old boy and a shovel. Paid my son 1$ per head bounty. He worked on Saturday and Sunday. We settled up at sundown every Sunday. Did it all summer long. Best money I ever spent. Cost me about 350$ (no OT pun intended) last summer. This spring, we had 20 or so germinate despite my application of pre emergent. He took care of those in 10 minutes. I have had maybe 10 pop up since then and I pull them as soon as I see them.

last year i tried celsius in feb followed by Hi-Yield Grass Killer a week later.
results were looking good until it eventually came back.

this year in feb i sprayed Hi-Yield Grass Killer at 1 ounce per gallon,it then turned purple/black and never came back.

centipede took over and dallisgrass hasn't come back.
will kill bermuda though,i haven't tried on st aug and does nothing to centipede.

decided this year i would no longer fertilize centipede and it is thriving.

Celsius or Esplanade- both Bayer products (not available at Home Depot) will solve your problem with the quickness.

Follow the label. Dallis grass- GONE.

The only way I got rid of it was pulled it up when the ground was really wet this past spring.
