Has anyone ever read anything about her plans for the Saints and Pelicans if she were to pass away? I know the leagues are against it, but it would be nice if we could end up with something like the Packers have with Green Bay, where the "community" owns the team. Screw the leagues. Al Davis showed that they are paper tigers and can be sued into submission in the courts.

You want the city of New Orleans to own the Saints and Pels?
The same city that let 2 dead guys hang out in the open from a hotel for almost a year?
The same city that has the worst municipal departments in the country?

Who are you expecting to be the person in charge?
The shareholders, or idiots that buy stock in the team, elect the board members. There's 45 board members. They are worthless, just like any politician. They also aren't paid money, so they say. Those board members select an executive committee to actually run the team, as well as the president.
In what world do you think New Orleans wouldnt frick that up?

And that assumes this was even possible, as the NFL or the NBA would never allow that to happen again.

Not certain about NBA, but know that NFL no longer allows that type of ownership.
