the batter would not be credited with a RBI in that situation... just FYI
and it doesn't need to be bases loaded... would just need a runner on 3rd base
in fact... if there's a runner on 1st with less than 2 outs in that situation... the batter is automatically out without the need of a throw down to 1st (or tag out) to complete the out
and if it is bases loaded and 2 outs... the catcher can pick the ball back up and step on the plate for a force out for the 3rd out
