Face over steaming water and towel over head. Along with a nasal steroid for sinuses, and a decongestant for the congestion.

Zutripro syrup (not like lean at all) will dry everything up but it's about $100 per 8oz.

Unfortunately there is very little you can take for a cold that is actually effective. I've tried it all and now I just take ibuprofen for any pain (sore throat, aches) and go about my day. The congestion and a cough are basically incurable without time.

The Sudafed pills that you have to get from behind the pharmacy counter and show your ID in order to buy--pseudoephedrine HCL(or any of the similar drugs that contain this stuff).

if you read otc meds, there are only a very limited number of active ingredients on the market...they just package them in different flavors and different combinations with other symptom relievers and market them.

I generally just get some generic Nyquil and Dayquil at the start of the cold season and I am good until the summer.

If you really want something to clear you up, try some Afrin nasal spray....but be careful, as you can get addicted to it pretty quickly.

If you have a sinus infection then go to the walk in clinic and get a Celestone shot. I used to be the guy that avoided the doctors office at all cost, and then I got my first Celestone shot

Neti pots also help tremendously

It's aleve and sudafed (sp).

I take a damp hot towel and rub a bunch of Vicks vapor rub in it and lay it on my face.
