Ensminger is more involved recruiting than most think...4-5 years ago i was showing the N Webster head coach how everything worked on his new RV, the phone rang, i looked down and read "Coach Ensminger" he answered and they talked about some kid named Devin White for about 5 minutes...he got off the phone and told me who it was and that he had a kid that was only 8th ot 9th grade but one day everyone will know him, "hes a bad man"....Ensminger is a HUGE reason that kid is now at LSU

That's my understanding as well from prior discussions w/ local folks who had info on Devin's recruitment far beyond what they read on the internet. After the results we saw in this season's offensive improvement w/ Ensminger as interim OC, I think it's time for everyone to quit crapping on Steve Ensminger. His loyalty to LSU and it's football program is beyond question.
