what is the best way to make sure fish fry sticks to fish

make sure your oil is at least 350.

dredge in mustard and you wont have a problem. no need for egg or milk

Keep the oil temp up. 350-360

And don't overcook it. If it cooks too long, the fillet shrinks, the coating isn't going to shrink with it and will flake off.

really hot oil


I keep my fish fry in the freezer.

I always dry them off with paper towels before I batter them and it really helps the batter to stick to the fish.
