I could say the same thing about MSU outside of Alabama and the Heisman trophy winner (which netted you nothing) but we aren't sunshine pumpers. Mullen has had 1st rounders and won a bunch of random games too, but You haven't even sniffed the SEC Championship game, which makes you inept as far as "success in the SEC" goes.

Yea, but at least there is a realistic expectation by the program, fans, Vegas, recruits and media that A&M has a chance.
Heisman netted a hell of a lot for A&M in terms of money, recruiting, exposure, etc.
A "bunch" of random games? What is a "bunch" and what is a random game, especially a random conference game?

I think it'll be a very close games, with neither team really being able to stop the other.
State's secondary is not that great, and aTm should take advantage of that.
But I don't think aTm's defense is greatly improved. They have more depth, which will allow them to hold their own on that side later in games, but I think State's O-line is too good.

Good for them, but they lost. On a neutral field. We won in Death Valley, at night. One of only three teams to do so since Miles has been there.
A&M jumped way up in the polls because they dominated a team (USCe) that lost to a team that lost to f'n Indiana. A&M should have lost to ARK last weekend, but lucked up against what many consider the worst team in our division. In other words, we're way, way better than any team that you've faced thus far.

If by dominate, you mean gave up 140 yards passing in the last 4 minutes and were holding on with white knuckles and loose stool when LSU was throwing into your end zone for the win, then I agree.
