I'm not sure why y'all are explaining to me how it works. I'm pretty sure we agree on all of that.

I disputed his initial comment that a few "delusional grinders" could change the line on the game this weekend.

Now I don't think either one of you can honestly believe that.

delusional grinders alone could run the spread to -50. Vegas spread moves with betting, not with any type of logical trend to suggest the game's outcome.

So you are alleging that delusional grinders have more money than delusional aggies?

Seems legit. Once the trailer is paid off, you have to spend those welfare checks somehow...

God y'all are fricking retarded. If every person in Mississippi bet on our game there would not be enough to outweigh everyone else in the country betting on it.

The spread moves because the betting becomes lopsided. The majority of people in the entire country would have to bet on State, not a "few people from Starkville" like he stated.

The spread is designed to keep betting even on both sides. When the line first opened at EVEN, the vast majority of money (94-96%) was placed on MSU, so they adjusted the line to MSU -1.5 at about 2pm on the 29th. Over the course of the next 5 hours, the money shifted towards A&M, so that by 7pm, the majority of money (55%) was coming in for A&M. Since that point, the majority of money has been going to A&M.

Well we dont have any common opponents yet, so your rationale is shite.
...unless you want to compare stats against Rice. But, pretty sure you don't want to do that.

Frank...Baby..

Vegas is uniquely unbiased because it's all about the money to them. Vegas set the line to begin with, they move the line based on the betting action that is coming in. A HUGE amount of bettors bet so much money that vegas was forced to set the odds in your favor by 2.5 points.. That's huge so early on in the week. Vegas likes us, the bettors like us.. and this goes against a LONG history of vegas hating us.

tl;dr You are doomed.

I think 7 points is usually the swing for home field so probably like MSU+5.5. I might be wrong though

... Gambling aside, why is your good defense not as good as our bad defense? Who is the best offense you've faced?

Also aggy didn't buy alottment bc we don't care about your best team In 20 years. We're more connected to Arkansas (who I think proves to be a better team) , we're more interested in trips to SC, bama, auburn. You're the Vandy of the west but with the worst academics too.

So what you are saying is that A&M is better than State in nearly every statistical category?

It's going to be fun exposing the overrated bulldogs on their homefield for the 2nd time.

I'm saying you're an idiot for using the line as a basis to rebut the OP

You clearly don't understand lines/Vegas

And yes, a few delusional idiots can move a line - State has plenty of delusional idiots
