The coaches have already shown they're not going to run Gurley into the ground to get him the heisman. I really don't see him getting more than 10 carries this weekend.

Of course, they didn't focus on getting the passing game going against Troy but I think that's going to be the focus this weekend. Gurley has to be as well rested as possible for the middle of our schedule.

I want to go into halftime up 42-0 because I'm going to WSMFP on Saturday night and I want to be able to leave the game with no doubt of the outcome.

Crispy where u going to see them at? I think they are coming to the coast coliseum here in MS. My favorite show I saw of them was in Jackson, MS.

N. Charleston on Friday and Saturday! It's been about 5 years or so since I've been, but I saw a lot of shows in high school, college, and my immediate post-grad year.

I am an avid Mason supporter but would like him to go a full three and reserve the 4th for whoever is truly the #2.

One of my biggest criticisms of prior years is that we could never blowout opponents in order to allow backup QBs to get meaningful reps. We did that in the Troy game but we need to do that in the other games in which we are expected to do so.

I love the North Charleston coliseum, saw one of my favorite Phish shows there. Haven't seen Panic since 05 or so but I've heard they're playing really well right now!

And getting some Charleston brunch the morning after a show is where it's at.

I guess that's a good point. I have seen too many teams have their QB get injured in serious moments only to have their back up struggle because he hasn't taken meaningful snaps all year (I.e. Texas when McCoy got hurt against Bama in the NC). I just think that Hutson gives us the best chance to win and I'd like to see him put up numbers like he did last year when he played (w/ maybe a couple more tds).

Honestly, Vandy stacking the box doesn't scare me. If we can seal an edge on a consistent basis, Gurley will have 250+ in the first half.

It depends on how well he does. There's no need to play him all 4 quarters if we're up by by the half, or even by the end of the 3rd.

If he struggles against Vandy's pass defense, I would hope we can get the backups in there as much as possible to get some experience, because it doesn't get much worse than Vandy. I'm confident BR can make a few throws against them, at least.

The past two years with Murray, all of our "patsy" games were too close to allow Hutson to get significant snaps.
