Heisman is overrated and often times forgets what it's trying to do, choose the BEST player. I don't care for it.

Arguments can definitely be made. But I have a hard time thinking of a better player last year than Jameis, Manziel 2 yrs ago, Griffin in 2011, and Cam 2010.

I am forever mad at the Heisman for not letting Herschel win it his freshman and even his sophomore year because of "tradition" but then letting little wankers like Tebow and Johnny Football win it early.

It's a similar dynamic as anywhere else. The urban areas have a larger liberal population where the rural areas are conservative. But on a sliding scale, further left overall than the south. Oregonians have an independent streak and keep to themselves more. It's certainly not all hippies living in communes. Though there are still some of those mostly in the proximity of eugene lol.
