Auburn has not won in Baton Rouge since, losing every game by an average margin of 17 points.

Funny how you left out arguably the best recent game between the 2.

Very cool synopsis - thanks for posting.

Good luck Aubbie and let's hope it's a great game all around.

Skylar Green also had a punt return for a TD. That was a crazy game.

forgot about that one. This series has been one of the hardest hitting, closest scoring, and most bizarre series of all time and I look forward to it every year.

hopefully another classic comes our way saturday

1994 Fourth Quarter Debacle Auburn was on a 14-game winning streak and ranked No. 11 when LSU traveled to Auburn in 1994. LSU led 23–9 entering the fourth quarter. LSU QB Jamie Howard threw five fourth quarter interceptions - three returned for touchdowns - as Auburn extended their winning streak to 15 with a 30–26 win.

This is still completely mind boggling.

This was my favorite series growing up. I was always on edge when watching them, I still hate yall more than Bama and that's saying something. Screw yall and good luck to yall from Oct. 5 and on.

Got a lot of LSU fans want to talk about the history of this series this week. Must not be looking forward to the game?

Controversy aside, 2006 was still a great game. One of the hardest hitting games I have seen. Even as a loss, still one of my favorite games ever.

Yeah, that's it genius. He only put together a brief history of the rivalry that probably took some time on his part....he isn't looking forward to this game at all.

I was there. It was awesome. Our offense was TERRIBLE that day. I think our offense only put up 3 points that game.

After the 94 game the LSU defensive coordinator tried to attack the offensive coordinator after the game and had to be restrained.
