But I like the way you try to downplay that point as if an 8 point swing & a 64% completion percentage is trivial.

For a discussion about NM alone, that stat variance is encouraging. For the offense as a whole, it's rather discouraging. It means receivers are not capitalizing on opportunities to catch passes. No, it's not doom and gloom worthy, but it is something that needs to be fixed.

Coates can't help getting overthrown. He's getting open.

He can help getting hit by the ball in the fricking chest and both hands.

That's happened maybe twice this year.

That happened at least twice Saturday. His drops have been well documented on here.

You can't have it one way and not the other. You complain about him being overthrown then when someone cites him dropping multiples passes that hit him in the hands you roll your eyes? Bich pls

Against KSU, NM threw to Sammie 8 times. Sammie had two catches and one was tipped at the LOS. I assume the other 5 sailed over his head.

Last saturday, NM threw to Sammie 4 times and he had 2 catches. I missed the other two being overthrown.

I don't think anyone is arguing that Marshall is some elite passer, just that our WRs try to do their best to make sure someone mistakes him for one

For every one drop Coates has had, there are 5 passes that have sailed over his head. bitch please.

One stat you forgot is Nick in the clutch leading us down the field. When the pressure is on, he is 100%.

In the 4th against KSU, NM was 5 for 7 for 86 yards and a TD...and converted 3 straight third downs all by passes on the final drive.

But we should probably see what JJ can do.

Really?

He was thrown to 12 times the last two games and had 4 catches. So I dont think your math adds up.
