LSU has better talent than K state. should be a fun game. it's asking a lot for a true frosh qb to come away with a win, but harris is brimming with confidence.

If AU's starting LB's are out I like our chances...they are going to be very important when it comes to blitzing. If you can't stop our run game or bring the pressure to Harris....it could be a long night for AU.

I'll agree with that but K state is better coached.
Auburn has better talent than MSU.

Its a new season for LSU's offense with Harris.

It's so funny to see y'all put all your eggs in the freshman QB basket.

Auburn is going to really limit LSU's running game (most impressive thing about Auburn this year is the improvement in run defense), force Harris to throw way more than LSU wants him to, and he probably throws 2-3 picks. He might move the ball down the field, but Auburn's defense is very opportunistic and he will make too many mistakes to win at Jordan Hare.
Get out of my head.

This game is a win/win for LSU. I think most rational LSU fans (I know) realize that this is a down year and the 8-4 would and should be acceptable.
That said, LSU is getting their QB of the next 3 years invaluable experience on the road in a hostile environment against a Top 10 team.
LSUs other highly touted true freshman will also grow from this game. This experience is going to pay giant dividends the next two years.
My only hope is that LSU doesn't get blown out (which could happen).
As to Harris, he is going to do some really good things and make some mistakes. If LSU wins, it will be because of his ability to loosen the box and spread the field.

yes, this is true. But, State has possibly the best DL in the SEC and this is not the same offense AT ALL that AU is facing with Harris at QB. We will try to spread out the AU defense more than we did vs Miss State...if our OL isnt facing 9 in the box every play, its much easier for them open up lanes for the RB's.

We're all pretty scared of that guy.
Oh wait we're not San Jose State. So nothing to worry about.

LSU offense has been completely turned around since harris has taken over the spot.
everyone has played differently. it's honestly kind of bizarre.
my worry is crowd noise in jordan hare. I was there in 2008. it's incredibly loud when the fans are into it. LSU using the cards that auburn and oregon uses now will help things I would assume though.

Strange game. Auburn went for two to tie it at 17, LSU took it all the way back for two points.
One of my favorite endings.
But now the Kick Six eclipses all game endings ever.

It reminds me of how we performed the game after DiNardo was fired and Hal Hunter took over as interim coach. Suddenly the players stopped sandbagging and played like an entirely different team. Or it could have been that Arkansas sucked. Jordan Jefferson depantsed a top 5 Hog team so...
