I dont agree with Hutson not having Mitchell and JSW the issue. He was throwing just fines in the GT and Nebraska game last year. Look at those games. He had zip on the ball. We all would have been talking about this last year, so obvious it wasn't a issue then. Something changed with him, and it may well be a mental thing.

Rumph had some great catches in those games, good YAC too.

Ramsey has a strong arm - but he can be a little wild though. Who do we have coming in next year as a QB freshman? MR seems to like to take a freshman and develop him (Green, Stafford, Murray).

We're not taking a QB this year. We will have Bauta, Ramsey, and Park next year.

I looked at those games in the offseason, and I wasn't impressed. For passes that travelled more than 10 yards past the LOS, he was 14 for 32 with two interceptions. On third down pass plays, he converted 8/23 into a first down, with two interceptions, one intentional grounding and 1 sack. On third down pass plays with more than 6 yards to go, he converted 1 of 12 into a first down, with two ints and a sack, and the one conversion was where Artie Lynch made a great play on a jump ball.

I didn't see much zip or accuracy on longer throws. Most of his yardage in those two games came on screens and other short passes. When he had to throw for yardage, not much success.

Jacob Eason will be coming in the year after next. He's only a junior right now. Someone will need to step up in 2015.
