Win to keep our hopes alive or lose and be completely out of the race for the SEC East so why no build up for this game as of yet? In my area UT fans are plentiful and they feel as though they were cheated from a win last year. I'm beginning to get the opinion that this game is much bigger for them than our players are taking it. I hope I'm wrong and that with Gurley in the lineup we will be a much better team primed and ready for what I think will be a tough game.

I can assure you that the Dawgs aren't taking any game for granted. You lose this game or any from here on out, you're done.

I wouldn't mind going undefeated the rest of the year along with USCe. They lose in the SECCG and we go to the play-offs without playing in another tough game against a top ranked opponent.

Except we have a committee now. USC in a close loss may be deemed the better team.

I believe the committee will decide that SCAR had their chance in the SECCG. It just like Florida getting hype in 2012 because their only loss was against UGA in a close game.

I think we take care of business against UT and Vandy. The back to back road games at Mizzou, who will be coming off a bye week, and at an improved Arky terrify me. But, if we do get to the bye week before UF with only one loss, then I like our chances. Getting AU at home would be huge in that scenario. I only expect our team to improve with the addition of JSW/MM and more experience for the DBs.

As far as this week goes, I just can't see UT beating us. I feel about this game the same way I felt about Clemson. UT is simply too young and inexperienced on offense and I don't see us struggling to put up points.

I see Auburn as a top 10 (maybe top 5) when we play them, and Mizzou will be our tougheast game till The Barn.

We've still got all our goals in front of us and attainable, imo.

Just win 'em all.

UT looked good against OK until late in the game and they made some untimely mistakes. They are young but if they come out fast like all teams have this year and get up early it will be a long day. Our secondary looks really bad at times and UGA has a history of making average UT QB's look like all world players. I hope we are primed and ready!! The crowd needs to be pumped from the start. Butch Jones brought a Central Michigan team into Sanford and gave us a hell of a game several years back!

It could certainly happen, but that would require them shutting down our front 7. Through 3 games they're tied for last in sacks allowed and they are 13th in rushing offense - that includes games against Arky St and Utah St at home. Their other option is for us to turn the ball over. But we've turned it over the least in the conference and UT is middle of the road when it comes to creating TOs.

The upset is obviously not outside the realm of possibility, but it wouldn't surprise me if we cover the spread. And I rarely like us to cover.

We won 56-17 but that was a game for much of the first half.

while its true that we have a huge advantage in the trenches, I think Jones will counter that with those gay little bubble screen, and other quick passes. But if we can get them in 3rd and long consistently we'll be all right hopefully.

We lose at least one of these 2....but the bright side is there are enough frequent flier miles from Athens to Missouri and Arkansas that you can get a free ticket on the 4th Sunday of the 7th month following a new moon three days before a waxing crescent, so there is that....

JMO, but I'm more worried about Arky on the back end of that long 2 game road trip than Mizzou. I think they match up very well against our Defense. Gonna be a shoot-out...

It's UT which is always a big game. Unlike in years past when I was always concerned with our defense not being ready for a game like this, I feel like Pruitt will have our guys coming out playing like their hair is on fire. Gurley will be hungry. Mason always appears to not have his guard down. I think we win this one comfortably. Not saying UT won't throw punches in the first half, but I just don't see them as a strong enough team on the line of scrimmages to stop us on both sides of the ball.

They are going to see an entirely different running game from us than they did last season.

My guess is they are well aware of this and will try and force Mason to beat them through the air with a depleted WR corps.

If the playoff existed in '07 we would have been voted in. I remember all of the talking heads saying this.
