Absolutely he will be. One season with nearly a new face in every skill position should not be the defining season of your coach's tenure. Only sidewalk, fairweather fans would think that.

Honest question, do you think Les will be the coach at lsu next year if the predictions hold true and lsu finishes 5-7?

Nobody who is legitimate is predicting a 5-7 finish.

The best part of threads like this is bumping them at the end of the season.

I mean, maybe Dak just made a bunch of plays on 3rd down that a lot of other quarterbacks in the country can't make.

Can Jeff Driskel make those plays? shite no.

Can Bo Wallace? Well, he can certainly make plays, but he's not the kind of playmaker Prescott has become.

While losses to Alabama and aTm could be on the horizon, I don't think it's TOO farfetched that LSU will be 7-2 heading into the Alabama game.

Sweet Jesus those last 4 games are brutal. The league fricked LSU on scheduling, but it is the SEC west so either way the fricking schedule would be brutal

Yea but have you watched your purple and gold clad young men play the game?

Yes and the inexperience of playing 30+ freshmen is definitely showing. They'll be fine by the end of year and those 30+ sophomores will be pretty damn good next year.

LSU fans are so quiet. So much hyping their team up all year. Making excuses for LF being a douche. Saying their defense is the best in the conference. Only to lose to MSU.

Imagine LSU missing a bowl game... The state of Louisiana would see riots.. Les would be out and Kiffin would take over as HC

Nah, our kickers are pretty good.
