thing about this year is lsu has a bad game before auburn. now they get a tune up and have to wait two weeks to make up for their play against state. i bet they beat auburn again.
LSU does own Auburn. They're pretty much our new Mississippi State.

This year's LSU team did not play in those 9 games.....
Correct. And truth be told they could have won both the games they lost.
Also, referring to a five-point loss with a chance for a game-winning pass as destruction is a bit of a stretch.

The real question should be was this game an aberration where LSU imploded or is MSU really that good? The answer is probably a bit of both. Until the final few minutes LSU just looked shell shocked; like they couldn't really believe this was happening to them in their home stadium. Meanwhile the Bulldogs looked solid in all phases of the game until they took their foot off the gas a bit too soon.
