The odds are just not stacked in your favor, my man. First of all, you went to GT. You probably wear a pocket protector and have taped together glasses. Second of all, your wife went to TAMU. She probably weighs 300 lbs. I bet y'all are smart and make a lot of money, but you'll always be nerdy and ugly. You win some, you lose some. Good luck in your future logarithms brother.

Have never owned a pocket protector, I only wear glasses when I drive and they are not taped, my wife is not fat. You are correct in stating she is smart and makes good money. I wouldn't describe either of use as nerdy. I'm beginning to move past middle age now, so I am probably beginning to reach the ugly phase. If you ever serve a guy at the McDonald's drive through where you work that is slightly balding, has a Georgia Tech ring, is wearing a Bama shirt, and has an aggie sticker on his car, let me know if you think I look nerdy so I can edit this post.

You tried way too hard and failed miserably.

Tn is the most dangerous state in the country.

The school song is about moonshining and alludes to killing government officials.

I'll give them credit for the Gore thing.

Tennessee is a beautiful state

Absolutely...at least the 98% that's west of Memphis.

Passionate college fans that were filling a 100,000 seat stadium long before anyone else in the south was

Can't argue with that.

The university has one of the great fight songs

I guess that since opposing fans hate hearing it, one would have to agree with this statement.

quote:

They are home of the music industry for every kind of music from gospel, country, blues, to rock

True...but you could also be a Vandy or Memphis fan.

Their residents have a tradition of being patriotic

Alvin York, Davy Crockett, Andrew Jackson...great historical figures.

Most importantly, they played a huge part in preventing Al Gore from being president. How many presidential candidates have not carried their home state?

fricking A. Didn't carry his state? Al Gore didn't even carry the congressional district he once represented. Al Gore couldn't even get elected dog catcher in the state of Tennessee today.

Not to mention the fact that it glorifies life without electricity and telephones.

But the fact that we rival fans talk so much smack about it probably helps elevate it on the eyes of the objective fan. If some sportswriter writes a book about the great fight songs, RT would no doubt be in it.

No real Bama fan would pull for Tennessee. They were Coach Bryant's most hated team. Rocky Top is a terrible song and you are a terrible fan.

My thoughts as well. That was a very impressive and orderly job by the crowd which makes life a lot easier for those who have to clean up after an event.

Agreed. Other than trolling or flaming, nothing positive is said on secr usually. I have my guard up at all times.

You obviously know nothing about music or the music industry.
