Most are missing the underlying humor here which gives Kudos to Les, really thought more would get it, sigh....

Yeah, some of these cats missed the gist of the post, probably because they are not familiar with the Pink Panther series of movies. It was a tip of the cap to Les, went over their heads.

Hey Shane, are my posts too condescending? (Condescending is when you talk down to or think you are more intelligent than the one you are communicating with).

If you lived in London you would know what the Blue Rooster is all about. Apparently, you need to get out more

That is what I was going to post. He is the old enigma wrapped in a riddle. But he just trolls less overtly than Spurrier. The end result is just as effective.

Just because he didn't want to go back to Michigan, no need to be a whiner. He came down here and he and Kathy LOVE it here. Great people. Great food. Great climate. AND NOBODY is king of LA like LSU's coach.

Les Miles has stayed true to himself and his philosophy on how to win football games. He has not panicked when most teams have adopted the spread concept. He believes in the power running, which wears most teams down by the 4th Qtr. He has had some fortunes, but most great people create those fortunes via hard work, dedication, and internal belief. His players love him to death and will give him victory against tGrind this Saturday.

Nail on the head! He has a tried and tested formula for building his team and winning games. He does not stray far from that plan due to any outside pressures. One other thing that the players love him for is that he never talks them down. He always takes credit for the bad and give credit to those who excel.
