We have seen that type of game too many times. Missouri fans knew exactly what we were going to see last night.

Now if our coaching staff does not use that game film as the bible to stop Auburn then our coaches are the biggest fools !!!

His offense has always been kind of ugly but he's changed the looks as the game has evolved too. They run so much out of the pistol and shotgun now, but they used the I a lot in the late 90s early 2000s. They use the same principles with a lot of misdirection and utilizing the QB as another ball carrier, but the looks have completely adapted to the modern era. A lot of other older coaches let the game pass them by

I have been very impressed over the years with Snyder's offense's ability to never get behind the chains. It is amazing how he institutes a philosophy and his guys execute it to a tee.

Auburn got a few sacks last night which is pretty impressive considering it is EXTREMELY hard to get a negative play on them. That seems to be his genius on offense. Build the gameplan from the inside out and NEVER get a negative play. I think Snyder treats negative plays almost like turnovers. That becomes frustrating after a while because it's 3 yards a pop and it prevents defenses from gaining the emotional edge off of a big time play. It's almost like they lull a defense to sleep because they don't allow you the opportunity to do anything but make basic tackles.

I also notice Snyder's guys are very good at executing those pick routes. Waters would throw to an "area" and a receiver would somehow be open to make the catch. It allows receivers to get open without having to necessarily "beat" their man. You see it alot in 7 on 7.

His defenses speak for themselves. Always one of if not the most disciplined units in the country. Didn't pay attention much but it looks like they play a zone, similar to Paterno's days at PSU, or like Mizzou. In the SEC the emphasis is on man coverage, rightly so with the great DB's in this league, and I think that zone was giving Auburn trouble. Allows the secondary to diagnose and react very quickly.

That Auburn O-line looks not nearly as dominant as last years, and Tre Mason seems to have been a big part of that running game.

Auburn better get used to passing the ball to win games this year. Although I do think Malzahn will eventually get the running game going, it won't be as dominant.

Definitely. They were so scary effective at this when they had Collin Klein under center because he was a poor man's Tebow, he just pushed the line and always fell forward. When they beat us in four OT in 2011 they just moved the ball downfield 5 yards at a time, it was so frustrating

I think our run game will look a lot different when the play calling doesnt go run, run pass on 3rd & long every single series. I was about ready to lose it with our derp play calling.
