Um, no. But the purple kitty mascot and the crowd surging to their feet and assuming the stance on every first down may annoy you to death. Please, don't let them get first downs. They're really irritating when they do.

Well, that sucks. Those Westboro folks have to protest everything.

I bet. I hate that the LSU team has to waste their Thanksgiving in one this year.

What's the atmosphere like right now? Are the bars and downtown full, or is that more for tomorrow?

I think I have stayed in that motel. It's a Courtyard-by-Marriott and it is beghind a big Walmart as I recall.

It'll probably be pretty decent for this game

My parents used to live in Kansas City and I went to KU all the time for concerts. I thought Lawrence was a really nice/cool place. Reminded me of Athens a little bit (hilly).

It can get plenty loud but how intimidating can 50k fans dressed in purple be? The smell of livestock around the stadium is the biggest obstacles. Athletes tend to not want to breathe through their noses and the interruption of normal breathing habits can affect performance as the game goes on.

Stillwater was always a fantastic trip. Me and my friends would show up empty handed every trip down and just walk around. Their fans will force food and beer upon you and make you sit down and watch the games on TV with them. By far the best trip in the Big12.

Plus, after the renovations, the stadium was a great venue to see a game in.

You want Auburn University to drive 4 buses halfway across the country to pick up the players at the airport?

Bama flies 5 buses to the location of a game using C130s. What kind of operation are you running down there?
