I'm not even a fan of the SEC. This is my observation, and for the past couple of years the SEC West has won the SECCG. Imagine Mizzou playing in the SEC West. I'll give you Tamu, because of last year's result, but I just don't see you guys beating Bama, Auburn, LSU when those games are all pretty close to each other.

While Arky would not win the East, State very well could.

Let's put it this way Chase. State would have won the East at least two times in the last 5 years.

Mo State

2013:
Kentucky W
SC L
(lost to Oklahoma State 21-3 which Mizzou beat in the Cotton Bowl)

2012:
Beat Kentucky and Tennessee both by 10 but, It was Kentucky and Tennessee. You all got hammered by Ole Miss, got blown out by A&M/Alabama/LSU. Did blow out a horrendous Arkansas team though. Beat Troy by only 6.

2011:
Blown out by Georgia, won against Kentucky. Loss to South Carolina.

2010:
Only year that you can even begin to think you could win the East. You got past Georgia, barely beat Kentucky and managed to beat Florida 10-7. Beat UAB by 5.

2009:
Barely beat Vandy, barely beat Kentucky. Lost to Georgia Tech. Got beat solid by Florida. Got waxed by Auburn.

Please stop talking out of your arse.

It only seems like we're bad because we're retooling for our next mega run...like Germany after WW1 or Russia in the 90s.

Alabama, Auburn, Texas A&M, LSU, and Ole Miss are in the AP top 10. The only two East vs West games we've seen thus far are Ole Miss demolishing Vandy (who cares?) and Texas A&M completely embarrassing South Carolina.

As of right now-- yes, the West is better.

Being up 7 with 8 minutes to play.

Winning by 10.

Congrats though. You beat the all-mighty power of the mountaineers.

In this case examining whether or not the West is light years better than the East it isn't.

But, in regards to the season, it is.

Why dont we just play the fricking football games and let this stuff sort itself out? How hard is that? Crack a cold one and move to the OT board where you belong.

The East is a joke, just like UGA. UF is a has been and USC is perennially overrated.

The best team in the East is probably Mizzou....again. Nothing against them but come the hell on.

Teams that would be front runners to win the East that Play in the West....Bama, Auburn, and A and M. Teams that would contend for and probably tie for the East title....MSU, Ole Miss, and LSU.

Seriously....EVERY team in the West could win the East. The West is a meat grinder.

Teams from the East that could win the West....none.

How do you figure? Tell me how good Texas Tech is.

Auburn shut them down in the 2nd half.
