ITT I learned that LSU fans don't know what the word upset means.

If Auburn beats LSU and beats them resoundingly, then they are... to borrow a phrase... the shizzle my nizzle. Which, I think, means they are pretty darn good. I am not as hip and fly as I used to be.

I say this at the same time I say Auburn has a great shot at the national title this year with their talent. LSU is the graveyard of spread teams. Beat them and who can say Auburn isn't the team to beat?

How about Auburn "squeaking" a victory over LSU in 2004 with a second try of a field goal from a ref call nobody has ever seen since and that Auburn team was supposed to be a National Champion type team!!!

LSU should be favored. Should be a good
game with LSU winning by 10 or more.

Why do you find this funny? Yes, that 2004 game could have gone either way...

In 2004 Auburn ended up having a perfect season. Hypothetically speaking here, say the national scene was different that season and no team was unbeaten and AU'S only loss that season was to LSU in OT.....you wouldn't consider them a National Championship type team because they dropped a game?

I know that LSU has two crystal footballs....didn't each of those seasons find LSU with an L (or even 2) on the record? Even though LSU ' S two National Championship seasons were not "perfect" they are still considered National champion's

I am glad LSU fans continue to ignore all your past failures in Jordan Hare, and you have so much confidence in your team. It will make the coming meltdown that much more entertaining after your inevitable defeat

He's not wrong. Just stating the fact. AU will rape LSU this year. Just beat the frick out of them and run them out of the building. It will make ya'lls 2011 beatdown seem so miniscule.

Prepare. Thy. Anus.

If we're going to look at series history, we might as well look at the entire series.

LSU first visited Cliff Hare Stadium in 1970, where're they defeated a pretty solid AU team (we lost only once more that year, to UGa , and finished 9-2). Since then, the two teams have met on the AU campus 14 times, with AU holding the edge 9-5.

Of those 5 LSU victories, only one - the Barnburner in '96 - came over an AU team that finished above .500 on the season. The last three (2012, 2008 and 1998) were against the only AU teams in the last 38 seasons to finish with 7 or more losses.

So congratulations, you always beat us on our own field when we really suck. You must be very proud.

Last Auburn raping of LSU was in 2002 (31-7).
In the 3 times (snickers) you've beaten us since 2002, you won by 1 point (2004), 4 points (2006), and 7 points (2010). In the 8 times we've beaten you (all those other years) the scores have varied wildly. We won by 14 last year, 35 in 2011 (largest margin in the history of the series) and 21 in 2009. You got smoked by JJ.

You're the prison bitch in this little dysfunctional relationship.
