guess you didnt watch the game this weekend

Having other backs that are effective running the ball doesn't mean Gurley can't do it at that time. It means our other backs are better fresh than Gurley is if he's carrying it 30 times a game.

Coaches' decisions =/= can't do it

Nope. Didn't watch. When did this happen in the game? Or is this more of your baseless BS because its about UGA? Please tell me when he was out, that any other starting RB in the SEC would have been in....

you know backs that can stay in for the majority of the game

Did Gurley not get the majority of the carries against Clemson and USCe? Or do you mean a back that places every series? In which case those backs exist less and less relative and aren't hardly as productive due to the wear and tear.

backs that dont need to be rested at crucial times

Can you show me when Gurley had to be rested during a crucial moment?

backs that play entire seasons.

Out of the two season Todd Gurley has played, he has played the entirety of both. He missed games due to injury last year, but he still came back and finished the season against Florida, Tech, Kentucky, Auburn, and Nebraska. shite, he missed Mizzou, Vandy, and Tennessee. 3 games.

Im not sure why some of yalls panties get into such a wad over facts.

For one, stop assuming I'm being uptight about this. I'm just requesting you provide evidence of your claims (which you have yet to do). But if anyone else is getting worked up, it's likely because you're not providing "facts" at all. I've only seen you provide opinions, assumptions, and gross generalizations without any support.

He only gets 53 yards per game. TDs are a strange metric in that in one sense they are the most important thing, but, like the rbi in baseball, they often reflect situational touches as opposed to over all production.

sure. but Drake is not exactly a goal line back. He's averaging a TD on almost 25% of his touches. The eyeball test would tell you that he's been better than Yeldon and a bunch of the other honorable mention guys.

That's what "quality" is judged on these days? shite, wish I'd known that sooner. I've been doing it all wrong.

He has been impressive to the eye ball, but his over all production has to increase to get on this list. The worth a mention guys section is just a nod to show that the committee is taking a broad view and noticing performances league wide. Don't get overly concerned with it.

And another one bites the dust. Can't give a football argument to your claim...

Can't even defend your longevity claim.

Sad.

Have a good one...

Already walked away from the other Auburn poster because he couldn't add anything to the conversation and now walked away from park, who can't backup his baseless claim with any evidence or stats...
