Wilma Rudolph should be on the list for Tennessee, surprised vols fans have not listed her.

We can definitely list her for the State of Tennessee since she's most certainly a famous Tennessean but she went to Tennessee State.

Maybe? I dunno.

I'd put Alex English over George Rogers for overall body of work.

Its probably Auburn to be honest. Bama, LSU and Florida right behind.

Bear was not famous as an athlete. Stabler is certainly not famous-most people today would not even know who he is. Bo, Barkely, and the Big Hurt trump Namath any day of the week hands down.

No harm done. She deserves recognition - I'd love to claim her.

If you want to go that route then Barkley and Frank aren't famous either, except they are. I will put my three against any three you come with. Or Bama's next three, or six.

Pretty much had the popularity of everyone on this list combined and still receives media attention as a backup

Do you mean "most famous now" or "most famous at some time." A guy like Randy Matson was extremely famous at one time, but now few people know who he was.
