The spinning shite he tries every time he touches the ball may work in HS, but it is a gimmick at best in real football.

Tell that to Eddie Lacy during his years playing at Alabama.

Not sure why people don't like CAP at RB. Feels like all summer and even every week during the season people are talking about the potential of other backs instead of talking about the awesomeness CAP is showing right now.

Grant and him give us an outstanding 1-2 punch. CAP gets stronger as game goes on and moves laterally really well. I think Roc will be an outstanding back some day but he looked terribly undisciplined against SJSU and freaking fumbled on one of his few carries. I hope we work him in more so he gets reps but CAP is the guy this year and is already on pace to lead the SEC in rushing.

He's a grinder, not flashy, not explosive. I'm not complaining though. He's getting the job done

I don't think it's about not liking him. To me, as a total package, he's merely a solid back. I'd rank him as the least talented RB we've had start since Brad Lester. That's not saying he isn't any good, but I'd take Mason, Dyer, and Tate over him in a heartbeat.

I've been looking forward to watching Barber get some carries. Still don't know what he brings to the table.

At this time, CAP is our best option at rb and it isn't close.

IMO Barber is likely the best overall RB we have. I am a bit concerned that he could grow impatient and look elsewhere. I pray he holds out until next year.

In other news, Jovon Robinson isn't having the same success this year as he did last. Has had fumble issues, losing 3 so far in as many games. His OL is horrible, but they don't cause fumbles. I am sure he will be fine, but I really hope Barber stays put.

Lacy was 230+ pounds at Alabama. If you think that all he did was spin around, you are very mistaken.

Jovon going to be the guy next year bruh. With Roc #2 Barber is just a casualty of the rb depth.

Based on jrljr loves his Georgia high school boys. Nothing wrong with that even if someone does not agree with his opinion.

Yeah, Jovon Robinson will be #1, Racean Thomas #2, Peyton Barber #3 and Kerryon Johnson will either be #4 or take a redshirt.

Either way, that's three 5* running backs on the depth chart...

Roc needs to be returning kick offs and taking all of Ricardo Louis's jet sweeps and spot time at the Rb position.

Not sure why so many people are undervaluing Artis Payne.

I don't either. Some have not changed their tune since before the season.

Is CAP a home run hitter?.....not in my opinion.
Is CAP a liner in the gap for a double?.........all day long.

I never said anything was wrong with it, just asking what he was basing it off of.

Not about undervaluing anybody. CAP is a solid back, but neither he or Grant are gamebreakers that can make anybody miss in the open field. Roc is 195 pounds, can fly and has the ability to leave defenders grasping at air. He's the most complete back, and it's not even close.

College football is at a point where the best players are playing three years and getting out. That's especially true at RB where the shelf life is so short in the NFL.

Thomas will be gone after the 2016 season, and I would hate to really only get two full years out of him because of seniority. Thomas should at least be splitting reps with CAP and Grant.

Dude stop! CAP has been really solid. If anyone should be getting more snaps it's P.Barber.

So the smallest/weakest back is the most "complete"? Thats cute.

Should we touch on the fact that Roc looked noticeably winded after barely carrying the ball against San Jose State's backups?
