Haha, Scots will still be that cool if they remain in the Union.

I'll be listening to the BBC live news on Scotland Decides during the Auburn game. Here is a link for anyone who is interested:

I was all in favor of the yah's until I read a little more into it. Other than the porn thing.

Eileen Siar goes No, which is a huge blow to the Yes campaign.

The No's seem to have it. A silent majority the whole time.

Status quo wins again but the people are slowly waking from their slumber...I think.

I don't know what you're talking about. "Yes" would've been bad for the Scots, the English, Americans, the EU, everyone. This is disaster averted.

Meh. Things aren't rosy now. The fact that a scottish independence vote could be harmful to the US doesn't rest well with me. It will be a setback for independence movements around the world.

Just like Iran in 1953 and Guatemala in 1954, Democracy has failed Lady Liberty yet again. I hope the bombers are in the air, we need to give those people some freedom.

If king george would have put half the people on payroll and put independence up for a vote, we would be under british rule today.

This is not analagous to the US. This is more like Puerto Rico or Quebec.

Yea, that's why democracy is inadequate in, and so often fails to protect liberty. 51% of the people vote everyone into slavery. The ideal solution in most of these countries is a benevolent dictatorship unfortunately.
