Arguably the biggest nonconference home game in their school's history.

Cant believe I read that this will only be the second Top 10 team to play against Snyder in Manhattan.

@bmarcello

No. 5 Auburn will be the highest-ranked nonconference opponent to visit Kansas State since 1969

Snyder was notorious for his creampuff OOC scheduling in the early days of the big 12. They used to catch a ton of grief for it nationally when they had top 10 teams.

I respect Snyder, so I'm glad AU agreed to give them some hype. I'm glad - if the game gets out of hand - that Malzahn is coach. I know he'll close it out with dignity for ol' Snyder.

41-31 AU. K-State hits us in the mouth early and gets up. Auburn answers and shoves it to them late.

45-20 As always it will be close in the first half and we pull away in the second.

37-24. We have 3 field goals and are down 14-9 at the half.

Iowa State scored 28 on Kstate. That's a team that got throttled by North Dakota State..we score early and often and its no way they hold us under 40. Our defense does not give up more than 21 points..giving us a bye to rest was a mistake on there part. Kstate may come out fired up..but by the second half they will be worn down and we hit them like a freight train.

48-31, Auburn. Back and forth scoring thru the mid 3rd quarter. We start winning the push on both lines and wear them out in the 4th.

I've been super busy and havent had the chance to review KSU. What kind of offense do they run? Strengths? Weaknesses? Is there any match-up review on this board?

Offensively, their strengths are the QB Waters (both rushing and passing) as well as a fantastic WR Lockett (although he may not be 100%).

Defensively, statistically they're better against the run... they play a bend and don't break style.... lots of cushion on the outside, not a lot of blitzing... gonna (try to) make us earn it.

Overall, they're well coached... don't turn the ball over much.
