But we need Strong there as long as possible.

Reverse racism will do that more than moderate winning.

What we need is for UCLA to put a stink on his career like 77-0 did to Fram.

UCLA has now ended the career of the last two Texas head coaches. It will be cool if they could begin the ending to Charlie year one.

Agree that he will return next year at least regardless of results, unless he does something like pull a Sandusky. Or worse, lose to Kansas.

So I'm hoping for maximum pain throughout the 40 acres for this season.

dear god UNT's offense looks awful. How did these guys smoke SMU? And how bad does that make SMU? And lol that La Tech's DC is Manny Diaz.

This game makes me laugh

End of 1Q here in Denton. 32 total yards combined between two. UNT with 4 yards from scrimmage and 3 punts.

based on what I'm watching, it's quite possible Lamar would beat SMU by 80

UNT is fricking awful. It's 7-0 La Tech now. UNT has had the ball 4 times and if they got a point per yard they'd still be losing

What does that say about SMU. They got dominated by UNT....yet here we see that same UNT getting beat by LaTech at home...the same LaTech that went 4-8 last year.

Don't you just love college football?

Not sure if this belongs in this thread but saw a thread on gigem24/7 noting that Texas asked a kid who was dominating intramural football on campus at UT to join the team kids name is Jimmy Greenwood from Kincaid. Is it so bad that they have to resort to that??

I usually am not the type of person to say that cliché line "Team A does not want to be playing Team F right about now", but if UTSA were to play Texas, I would think Texas could lose.

Week 3, I'd rank the teams like this:
A&M
Baylor
TCU
UTSA
Tech
Rice
UTEP
UofH
Texas
Texas State
UNT
SMU

After A&M and Baylor, there seems to be a huge dropoff and it definitely gets harder to grade. I will say Tech has no defense, Texas has no offense, SMU has a rec center team playing O (though a slightly OK defense that gave Baylor minor trouble), UofH is inconsistent, Texas State has Fran, and Rice was pretty OK for a half against ND.

Meh. Whatever works for them. I mean, look at where we found Travis Labhart.
