Bobby Petrino hates Les Miles cause he let Jordan Jefferson pass late in the game in 2011. Shows how dumb Petrino is. If we ran the ball, we would have scored. Letting Jefferson pass three times led to a field goal attempt. We did him a favor.

I don't see a problem working on the short or intermediate passing games. I do have a problem with flea flickers and playaction bombs.

Run. Your. Offense.

But do it with backups, reserves, third string, whatever - now you're in player development mode. As a coach, how could you possibly ask players to give 100% in practice, and not give them a chance to play their best in the 4th quarter of a game even if they didn't start?

If you can't stop their backups from passing you have bigger problems to worry about.

Not classless. It's the defenses job to stop it.

Damn right. I absolutely hate the "running up the score" cry babies. Just put in a 30 point halftime rule, or a 21 point 4th quarter rule and call the game off if people are too sensitive to "running up the score."

Depends on the context completely. A starter throwing bombs and using trick plays with a 21 point lead with less than 5 minutes in the game, probably classless, any other situation, fair game.

You mean like Oregon did to pump up Mariotas stats?
Yes....classless.

That is not the correct story and I am certain you know that.

When the game is out of reach, you put in your subs and let them play. Might be the only chance a lot of these guys get to score a TD, or throw a TD pass, in their college careers.

Only thing I would put off-limits is running trick plays, etc. The fake FG we ran on MSU a few years ago was pretty lame, although it was against that lowlife Jackie Sherrill.
