SC ranges from #15 to UR.

I think #15 is too high, but UR is an overreaction.

Butch Davis is looking for a job and has lacks integrity.

Auburn at 10 is silly and Maisel looks silly saying it.

They are all over the place.

LSU as high as 4 and and low as 14. Many voted them 8 and 11 and one 5 I believe.

It's a consensus non-consensus.

Gotcha. Any chance you can share the general range for Ole Miss? And who voted us the highest?

TIA

As of right now its UGA then A&M then AU and then there is the rest of us.

Both Bama and LSU had weird outings on D. Both felt worse than the outcome.

Bama had a steady paced O all the way through the game and LSU had a light pop on in the 2nd half. Weird games for both teams.

UGA, A&M, and AU all looked very good for an opener. UGA has the best D of anyone right now that I've seen if you look at the competition. Their secondary had some miscues, but nothing as major as A&Ms.

I don't care about the specific order, but if these are going to be actual power rankings, meaning based on what you saw in the last (only) game, then anyone who doesn't have UGA, A&M and AU in the top 6 or so is just being ridiculous.

A&M is a tough one with a sample size as small as one game (as are many of the teams, including UGA, LSU, BAMA). I loved watching their offense but I am not of the belief A&M has a good enough defense to win every game.

I understand we didnt look unstoppable out there but LSU, UGA, Auburn, and Bama all gave up over 20 points (and all looked vulnerable at one point or another). We gave up 28 which granted was the most among those teams but its not like we won 52-49 or something.

Plus, power rankings aren't about predictions about what a team can/can't do. Obviously if the D looks shaky, that factors in, but it shouldn't be a "A&M will eventually falter due to the D" thing.

It's about right now, or it was before ESPN disregarded the definition of power rankings for about 10 years and made them totally worthless.

I think it's the big plays that give people some pause. Just speculating though.

The scatter on this thing is ridiculous, but the average looks fairly accurate.
