It's probably not on your diet right now, but to cure any sweet cravings you have, try the Quest Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough protein bars. I generally don't dig on protein bars because they're chalky, but Quest Bars (cookie dough flavor only) are awesome.....and only 1 gram of sugar.

Ah. I see. Well good for you. It's fun unlocking the sexual potential of a nice woman. I hope she stops caring about the cloud and you start getting fun texts again.

I'm starting an elimination diet on Monday to find out if I'm allergic to something other than just indoor/outdoor stuff. Pray for me.

Only gullible housewives, hipsters and Sleeping Tiger still think GMOs are harmful. The number of studies and evidence to the contrary from thousands of sources is so overwhelming that some consider it the most throughly researched topic in all of nutritional science.

Virtually all illnesses related to diet can be attributed to high saturated and trans fat intake, dairy and excess carbohydrates.

Thoughts and prayers. I pray it is nothing in alcohol, burgers, or pizza.

Start with gluten. I don't eat it, not because I'm allergic, but because I keep my carbs low. Mrs. Tantal OTOH will blow up like a toad (literally looking pregnant) if she eats it.

I have a sneaky suspicion it's the dairy but it's possible I'm just being hit hard by the seasonal stuff. I'm going Thursday for a full on food panel skin test so I'll have it on top of the elimination diet for about 3 weeks. My issues aren't gastro or even immediate. But a delayed reaction of itching from what I could tell thus far. They checked for dairy on my other skin test and I had no reaction (which is good since it means it's a mild, delayed reaction). They did tell me it's possible it could've been cross pollination from raw fruit I was eating too. So we'll see.

Any recipes anyone wants to throw out, I'd appreciate.

Recipes like whole 30 or Paleoish? Basically removing any additives?

On the elimination diet you're eliminating gluten, dairy, soy, eggs, corn, pork, beef, beans/lentils, coffee, citrus fruits, nuts, and nightshade vegetables (these are optional, I'll probably include nightshade veggies).

K. I'll get a few that I've enjoyed from my wife. Stock up on sweet potatoes, cauliflower, and avocado.

That and rice is the plan.

I can apparently have rice or coconut milk. I was going to pick up some Rice Chex for a quick breakfast but curious as to which milk would go better with. I've had Almond milk in the past and I'm not a big fan.

Belle a little late, but a few items we've tried and have success with.i would say these are all things we will continue to eat after we're done in 4 days.

sorry. been in the Rio Grande Valley since Monday.

cauliflower rice
sweet potato hash
pizza bites
chicken salad
crispy chicken thighs
chicken chipotle soup
sweet potato soup

a couple of them call for egg yolk or butter. we just didnt add and substituted with coconut oil and egg white irrespectively.

i will add that i have rice/avocado/almond butter every day at this point

I did a whole 30 2 years ago. I dropped roughly 20 pounds in a month with hard exercise (some of course was water weight)

By the 3-4th week it gets a lot better. Your stomach either gets used to the lack of food or "shrinks" whatever it is. Your energy levels which at the beginning suck go through the roof due to balanced blood sugar. Best thing is your cravings aren't a big deal

Once you indulge in a craving though it is over and you gain it all back. Like me

I'll definitely be doing the sweet potato hash this weekend (sans egg, maybe with an egg substitute on the side).

I need to check out the sugar free/nitrate free bacon since I can have pork.
