Didn't yours throw 3 INT's against us last year in a loss?
And where is he listed on our roster this year??? Must of missed that

The West is the toughest Division in all of sport.

Yeah, Jennings will move the ball against us a lot better than Mett.

I feel confident we will fair just fine.
I'm sure you do. I'm sure you did last year, also.

You will be facing an extremely stout D/secondary that will be begging your turnover machine to pass it.
Your defense is awful outside of your secondary and Kwon. Danielle Hunter looked sad out there. Wouldn't sniff our 2-deep.
PS: Your defense is shite compared to the last two years...Bo and our offense have had field days against Chavis and his defense. That won't change this year. Miles has shown no signs of being able to stop Freeze. Why do you think LSU will all of a sudden stop Ole Miss with a much worse team, while Ole Miss is vastly improved?

And, never underestimate playing in Death Valley (most likely a night game this year).
Death Valley means nothing to Ole Miss. 24 of our 39 wins are in Death Valley. Death Valley intimidates me on par with playing @Millsaps

Jennings has mobility, Mett was a statue out there. This will be a completely different QB you will face and he's improving with each game. If my QB starts to become a turnover machine like yours, then I will be concerned

Wow...we are way off from being top 2..35 whole yards. And where are you guys on the list??
That shite means nothing. Look at those top teams and what do all have in common? THEY RUN THE frickING BALL.
Watch the games, not statistics brah

The west. Still riding each others dicks. Why don't you guys get a room?

Good god you talk out of your arse To be honest that is one of the most homer responses I have heard in a while with nothing to back it up.
Yet we held the #14 team in the country to less yards than you did to a shite Boise St. team.
And keep living in the past as far as OM beating LSU in DV goes...since 2002 you have beaten us in DV once. You should be very afraid...but, keep living in the past. I would too if I were you

When my QB throws for less than 300 yards against a Big 10 defense, then I will be concerned.

I did watch the game and I saw a defense give up 400 yards to Boise Fn state.

Running the ball runs the clock down, my man. It's logic.
Boise State ran 80 plays.
Wisconsin ran 63 plays.
Ole Miss gave up 4.7 yards per play.
LSU gave up 5.0 yards per play.

I backed that up like the thirstiest trick at a club.

We surely haven't had a problem running the ball against LSU
We can dance this dance all day, but at the end of the day, Ole Miss beat LSU last year and will have no problem doing it again this year.
If you really watched the game, you should fear for Fournette's life. Good God, our defense was breaking necks out there.

We could dance this dance all day.....but the fact remains that your confidence to beat LSU at home at night vs a team that has revenge on their mind is asinine. Our team is young, but improving and showed a lot of promise in the second half of the Wisky game. I expect it to be a battle as always, but if you aren't the least bit concerned then you are just being a complete homer and that's the truth of it.
Sooo....OM has a whopping .3 yards advantage over LSU as far as yards per play allowed. When we played a much better team. Yeah, our D is awful and your is the best in the SEC!

think the West is at it's deepest maybe ever.
We do seem to be missing that COMPLETE dominant team. Closest may be the Barners at this moment.

I'm afraid we will all beat up on each other this year and keep someone out of the playoff. Which truly would be bull shite when no other conference division even comes close to ours
Yep. If the playoff were really the four best teams, it might be FSU and three SEC teams.
quote:
The days of trying to make a team feel bad because they are 4th or 5th in the West really holds no weight....not when we are as strong as we are now.
It's like the 1997 college baseball season. Arkie had a very good team but got left out of the NCAA tournament because they finished 5th in the SEC West. The top 4 in the division all went to the CWS, with LSU and Bama playing each other in the NC game. So the answer to the rhetorical question about Arkie ("How good could you be if you're only 5th in your division?") was "Well, we could be the 5th best team in the country".
