Meh, Brandon Allen was pretty good throughout the game. I thought he got happy feet a few times and rushed himself out of the pocket before he should have, but his arm and accuracy were markedly better. Once again, he was let down on a few key plays (Hatcher's drop was a game changer).

That's kinda irrelevant if he gets hurt. Need AA to get experience in case of emergency.

I really hope Edwards gets some snaps too. It would be nice to have a receiver with some height again.

I'm with Ocelot on the whole Austin Allen thing, kid needs some real game experience just in case.

Injury - especially at QB - is a risk that every team has. You have to play for today (insert Herm Edwards "YOU PLAY TO WIN THE GAME gif).
To me, meaningful snaps =/= garbage time snaps. I'd rather not play Austin Allen if we're down or up by less than 17 with more than 5 minutes left.
I just remember some dim bulbs calling into Drivetime after the Bama loss in 2010 and asking if we needed to start getting Tyler Wilson more PT now that the National Championship was out of reach. Not exactly a great moment for our fan base.

Can't find Korliss Marshall on field for pregame work, either. Marshall bruised his arm last week. Looks like it's Williams, Collins today.
