Bert said he over played one of our tackles and should haved subbed him at around 40 snaps. The complete scheme change takes time and I think most of our fans get that.

I still have us down as 5-7 this season but 6-6 and 7-5 isnt insane for this team.

Our D is super thin depth wise which hurts.

Arky's offense is not capable of getting a huge lead on anyone. It's the way their offense is built.

You must have missed the game. Our O was actually pretty good untill the dropsies started. The int was due to Allen getting hammered and not a bad decision which impressed me.

Yeah, but your whole OL looked gassed in the second half. Like I said if others can step in and give your 1's some rest you could pull out 1-2 SEC wins.

There is a reason bert kept them in that long. He isn't confident in the 2's to keep up a similar level of play. Once you all got on a roll he didn't want to interrupt the rhythm of the starting line.

Completely agree. We had 2 new Jucos get solid pt that got here this year. Once the FR and jucos start gelling over the season the line will get better.

Our Oline is very young really. Kirkland and Skip are true sophs, Wallace tFr, Two jucos, and Ragnow is a tFr.

Bret was fricked before he got here from Petrino and Smiley

I'm not saying your O is bad, its just that they are capable of putting up alot of points, fast.

This may be true this year because of their defense and overall they are a plodding power offense. You look at their schedule and every SEC team they play have offenses that can score quickly and often. I am trying to be positive for 870 because he seems pretty cool.

The West is highly competitive and a bad time to be rebuilding like Arky has to. Auburn was lucky because it already had a lot of Gus's recruits and talent throughout that was misused by Chizik. Bert has to rebuild from ground up with his style of play. Gonna be tough during the rebuild.

We can score, our O will suprise people imo. The dropped passes hurt us horribly. 5-7 easy catches dropped and our offense died.

Our offense will have to depend on our D to get one or two stops which Im much more worried about.

The Auburn game could have been alot worse but we got lucky with our fumbles that im writing off as first game jitters @ the SEC champ along with dropsies. I gotta have a little homerism.

Yeah but this goes to my point that bert needs a couple of more classes of solid recruiting. Look every team has drops though. Sammy dropped one in his hands across the goal line.

Now you have some RB's that can break one off anytime for a quick score for sure.

With that said my overall point is that you also are playing SEC teams that have solid to very good defenses and it is a tough schedule. Not to mention they have better depth as well.

Listen to bert talk. He knows this team isn't there yet, but has to make them believe and not quit. I really am saying this in an objective way. I really don't have any hate towards Arky at all despite all the chatter leading up to the game. Just my opinion on what I see.

The key to SEC wins really starts with your interior lines. If you don't have a solid 2 deep you are struggling for wins on that alone.

Guys, I'm seriously not an Arkansas fan. I have nothing against them, I just don't pull for them. I do like their uniforms though. Best jerseys in the conference have to go to LSU though.

Allen's improvement made me pretty optimistic that our offense will be really dangerous next year. We get him, all 3 RBs and 4/5 OL back and only really lose 2 of our WRs/TEs that caught a pass saturday.

Im more worried about the defense. Losing Flowers will hurt. Feel like we are still a long ways away there.

The key question is will Arkansas give Bert enough time to get the recruits he needs to compete because the Razorback fan base are not a patient bunch and they will start calling for his head if he goes 0-8 again.

You have a great TE in that soph. I think he is a soph anyway???

I agree your offense is much further along than your D.

Hunter Henry.

The TE class we're setting up to bring in next year is pretty absurd. It looks like we'll be landing the #6, 9, 14 and 28th ranked TE's on 247. The funny thing is that the 28th ranked guy may be the best of the bunch. He's from a small, podunk town in Oklahoma that always has a terrible football team. No on had heard of him before Bielema offered. He committed almost immediately and then the recruiting services rated him based off of his highlights tape that shows 8 catches. Oklahoma offered shortly thereafter thinking he would commit. The kid wants to play for Bielema however because of his track record of putting TE's in the NFL. He came to our camp this summer and apparently ran circles around Will Gragg who is the #6 TE.

It looks like Bert is building an athletic blocking core. The hogs will have a tough offense to stop in the coming years. I'd say with Bama's decline, there is room for teams in the West to gain ground.

Thank you Cheshire...

Hunter is a hell of a TE. Good to hear about the others coming in.

Chesh, how is your defensive recruiting looking like for 2015?

Seems like an inefficient use of scholarships.

The ironic thing is the highest rated one of the group we're recruiting as a DE

Not really. One of them is actually a DE. The sites are rating him as a TE because he went to one camp and killed it at TE. At one point in time 247 had him ranked as the #1 TE. The kid is a freak athlete.

The other three we need for this offense and they all play different roles. One is a true inline guy, one is a flex and the third is being recruited as an H-Back.

Looks like the Arky fans are excited for what's in store. That's always a good thing.
