Well, Bama drops at least three games this year, and I think the TSIO is one of them.

You can't stop Amari Cooper, TJ Yeldon and Derrick Henry. You lose by 21.

I think we can stop Amari to be honest - Cam Sutton is one of the best DBs in the league. It was clear his freshman year and it was even clearer last night. Unless you get a QB that can truly thread the needle Amari will be contained pretty well. However I doubt we can stop your RBs but one thing I noticed is that your oline wasn't doing much work opening those running lanes and helping your RBs out. WVU got burned anytime they made a wrong move - your athletes are too good but they stuffed them well when they read the offense for the first half. Second half was your usual tired out defense trying to go against a big SEC line. So there's a weakspot even there if our D lives up to it's game 1 performance.

Even so, Bama advantage especially with our depth and youth. No telling if we'll have a team left depth wise by the time TSIO rolls around.

I dislike Bama, but I'd put a thousand down on Bama minus seven points today in that game if I could.

Phat Phil, why don't you put your pussy where your mouth is and accept a straight-up ban bet?

But LSU fans say Bama has an easy schedule.

To the UT fans, I hate yall, but glad to hear some smack talk out of you.

Hopefully, we can make this TSIO an epic one no matter who wins it. I want the college football world to remember why TSIO is a big deal. And why one of the Earliest Football Paintings, one that ran in magazines across America, captured the first forward pass at TSIO.

I'll tell you what I saw that has me excited about this team. AJ Johnson led that defense out there like he was Al fricking Wilson and that whole defense responded the way Al's teams did. We're not nearly as talented as Wilson's D's but they played with a fire and passion that I haven't seen since Al. If you don't remember Big Al could will his teams to play harder and make big plays - he defines the role of the LB being the QB on defense.

Again they're nowhere near as talented as those teams were but that's the kinda of passion I want to see on D. It's dangerous.

I wish we had an AJ Johnson type leader on the defense...that's exactly what we're missing. That and some DB's...lol

The only thing we can agree on is that if all other games ended TSIO would go on.

Bama, 56-23.

Errbody's gonna score 23 on this defense, except aTm as they will put up 123.

AJs always been a great teammate but this year the lights flipped on about how he had to lead this team. It's night and day for him. He came back because he didn't want to leave without putting this place back in a bowl - didn't want to leave a loser and he's made that clear. He's all over his team's arse everyday if they slack a single rep in practice. He's playing better than he's ever played.

They said AJ was our biggest recruit in that we got him to stay but I really didn't think it would be this big of a boon. Well, I was wrong. His importance now is just far beyond just him being a great LB. He wants to win and won't allow his team to take a break and he's leading them by example.
